Hello all, I recently bought a Hauppauge Nova S Plus DVB-S card. I
copied channels.conf to ~/.mplayer but "mpalyer dvb://" gives
error.
Here is all needed console output (commands highlighted)
http://pastebin.com/f4de6d78f -> lsmod, lspci, ls
http://pastebin.com/f165bc207 -> mplayer
thanks in advance
specify the name of a TV station that is unencrypted and comprised
of at least 1 audio or 1 vidoe stream, otherwise mplayer chooses
the first channel it finds that could be data or encrypted

BTW, VDR works so card is properly recognized by Linux.
Mplayer doesn't look just for adapter1. If I make symlink to my
adapter0 as adapter1 is complains about adapter2 and adapter 3 so, it
look for 4 adapters and complains for the ones that it doesn't see
exist.

dbv://***@XYZ gives the same output :/

Hallo,
well. mplayer looks for adapter1 but your first adapter is adapter0
I do have the same card, but i am not sure why mplayer tries to use
adapter1 per default on your box.

Hello,

you are right. My mistake.

VDR is working with the same channels.conf ?
Did you check the channels.conf with the native tool szap ?

If szap isnt working you might create a new one with scan
from the native tools.
